Gyp$y Dub Orche$tra (a.k.a Trevor Brown and cohorts) is an electro- acoustic fantasia, melding gypsy, dub and electronica with analogue and digital sounds that are woven into a magic carpet that takes you on a wild and undulating trip through the aether. Trevor Brown is a composer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist who has had a wide ranging career in the arts, working with bands such as Waiting For Guinesss, Ju Ju Space Jazz, MetaBass n Breath, Morganics, (and many others ), composing for film and theatre to critical acclaim, working with Symphony Orchestras in Australia and the UK, International Dance Troupes, Performance Poets, Post-Industrialist Street Theatre, designing instruments and systems for electro-acoustic manipulation, directing festivals and running workshops in disadvantaged communities.

Foreign Birds sound can be found in the space between sleep and consciousness. Interwoven melodies created by diverse instrumentation guide the listener into a semi-dream state. Nervous Doll Dancing is a solo act by Francesca Mountfort. Layers of cello sounds that create dense textures with soaring melodies and sound effects, all created from the cello accompanied by clocks, music boxes and voice.

Agency Dub Collective are a live 6-piece from Melbourne, Australia. Heavily influenced by the revolutionary musical styles born in Jamaica, their music ranges from poignant downbeat dub and cruisy skanking roots styles to lively dancehall and stepper rhythms. Bass-heavy grooves are dappled with echo-drenched guitar and keyboards, interspersed with synths, samples and the plaintive cry of the melodica. Sometimes chilled-out, beautiful and classic, at other times futuristic, Agency Dub are always fresh and ever-evolving. Their passionate and articulate frontman, 3oB, delivers a variegated homogeneity of vocal stylings, ranging from sweet reggae falsetto to rowdy rap and ragga. Seeking to reflect the interconnectedness of all things (I&I), the lyrics connect personal and global themes and express a vision of humanity beyond the current capitalist paradigm.
