I had an interesting, if somewhat drunken, Earthdance. Given that it is the global party and day for peace, I spent the day picking peoples brains to further my understanding of why the resistance to war in this country is not growing with what has been going on. In some way I finally found an answer. In several separate conversations with people they urged me to watch "The Secret" to cast more light on things. In fact they were all saying the same thing. That to resist something will only give it more power and all used "The Secret" as an example of a cogent explanation to this theory. Luckily I had recently been given a copy of "The Secret" that I had not yet watched so it was obviously something the Universe was putting in my way. I have since watched it and am glad that people finally urged me into checking this out. I had no idea that things were getting so bad.
I guess I better start with a positive, as it wouldn't be right to bring anyone down with negative vibes. These guys are definitely getting craftier we have to tip our hats to them on that level. I have long wondered how long it would take for the establishment to get a serious handle on what we have been up to and start fighting fire with fire. Obviously this particular movie has a struck a chord with a number of people from the psychedelic world here in Melbourne. Indeed this makes sense since it draws heavily on the emergent spiritual theory that seems to be growing out of the Psychedelic and Quantum Physics worlds about the nature of reality and ones ability to control it and manifest it with ones thoughts. This idea is obviously becoming more and more of a driving force assisting in the decision making of people from our culture.

The secret has many keys which are useful and others which are not. I have read a bit of Bob Proctors book and he is the "anti christ" ha ha ha. I love these people using spiritual clitches to justify a paradigm of materialism. I find that even though the secret uses an "American Dream" approach I have been able to extract fine pieces of wisdom and apply to my life. These fake success teachers will cry to mommy when the dimension eaters come swallow up their illusionary facade they preach as real. All you need to do is reverse a lot of the information and remix it to suit your perception. To me it's like a jumble puzzle. At least some new pieces have come to be considered i hadn't entertained before. I am glad people haven't taken the secret too seriously and picked at it, that shows me great minds are at work pondering.

secret not in the secret

im really glad you took the time to write this up Ralf so thankyou... i watched the secret twice. the first time i laughed a lot at the irritating shit in it from its really awkward new agey bum chakra, & i think i annoyed the friend i watched it with when i hassled the tv for its cheesy unconscious american styley. my friend was quiet, i felt like someone talking & commentating to their favourite player while watching footy on tv... i started to shutup..the little people on the tv can't hear me... I focussed on the bits with some good general advice about manifestation & my interest in the quantum law of attraction. i kept thinking of the diversion from heart to head. In no way did i ever think of the secret as something connected to raising consciousness, or bringing more love or peace into the world. Its a manifestation guide, and yes i read the science of gettin rich a few years ago, with much the same response...there's a few good reminders in it & a whole lot of bum chakra like "how to get what you want in the physical plane whether you are selfish or not for beginners"... I suppose i didn't expect it to be of any higher consciousness than that because nothing about it was from that place. And i recommended people to watch it because its interesting, trusting they can read beyond the crap too, maybe they can, maybe not..? Im really grateful that Ralf took the time to go into the thick sticky side of it that i circumvented, expecting no better anyway...
The reason why i watched it a second time was because maybe i missed something, everyone thought it was wow. The 2nd time again i avoided the bum chakra vibe & decided to go meditate instead on what i wanted for the world from my heart, not my head. The secret, i feel is missing from "the secret" - if you create from your head you create & perceive only in duality, left & right brain hemispheres, right & wrong, good & bad, us & them, so you create from a selfish perspective. Good a bit of interesting quantum fashion science to pull people into their heads then get them to manifest from that place. If you create from the heart there is unity only & wanting positivity peace & abundance & love for everyone, because we aren't separate. The examples in the movie are all head. For instance, say you want money & you receive it. Its energetic impact on our world isn't activated upon you receiving it, its activated upon you spending it. You can want & use money for any number of reasons; self separated richness is head, money to aid positive transformations for the planet is heart.. Our community does need to learn more about abundance to activate more heart money on the planet, money as a finite resource, we remove space for headmoney on the planet & create positive things for more than ourselves..
But i want to say i really noticed both times that the first 20minutes has a different feel to the rest & while watching it i felt a process occurring in this time that feels like hypnotic rhythms affecting my breathing - interested if someone has the right tools to see if there is a regular sequence of blank frames or something in the editing, like the same image every 85 frames isn't visibly detectable but induces a subconscious rhythm of 45bpm, ideal for hypnosis. there you go a bit of fun... made me think of the hypno spiraleyes in cartoon witch doctors...they're always selfish really...
